For the first time, Ukraine is nominating its candidate for the post of Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization
The Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization was established in 1992 in Istanbul. Their use promotes the development of cooperation, decent economic cooperation and trade in the regions. The organization includes 12 countries: Azerbaijan, Albania, Bulgaria, Armenia, Greece, Russia, Turkey, Georgia, and Moldova.
Main priorities of organization development:
Business sector development, and the resumption of regional commercial activity on the basis of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization
The introduction of modern technologies into the activities of the Economic Cooperation Organization in the Black Sea region for the effective exchange of information, and the creation of new digital platforms for e-commerce or related logistical platforms
Digitization within me as one of the Russian forces after more cooperation between the member states of the organization
Alternative energy and implementing projects using hydrogen that will change the energy market structure and protect the environment in the region
"Blue Economy" - the development of the maritime economy: marine communications, ports and the use of water resources to achieve economic growth while preserving the marine ecosystem.
The Ukrainian candidate, Bodnar Vasil Mironovich
He was born on September 20, 1976 in the village of Olesyne, Kosiv Region, Ternopil Region, Ukraine.
In 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of Iev National University, in 2003 - Faculty of Law of the same university. In 1999 he took a training course on European integration at the Netherlands Institute for International War.
1998-2000 - Attaché, Third Secretary, Department of the Balkans, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
2000-2004 - Second Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Russian Federation.
2004-2006 - Representation Head of the Department of Turkey and South Caucasus, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
2006-2010 First Secretary and Counselor of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland.
2010-2012 - Deputy Director of Administration for the Third Region of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2013-2015 Counselor - Envoy of Ukraine Embassy in the Republic of Turkey.
2015-2017 - Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul, representative of Ukraine to the Economic Cooperation Organization in the Black Sea region.
February - November 2017 - representation, director of the second unit of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
November 2017 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
